1. What we do
Ready2GEO measures whether a site is technically and editorially ready to be crawled, understood and cited by search engines and by answer engines based on artificial intelligence.
The main engine runs forty nine technical analyses spread over five families: crawler access, structure, structured data, performance and trust. Fifteen online tools cover more specific subjects, from the analysis of AI crawler logs to the readiness of a product page for agentic commerce.
- Global engines covered: ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Google AI Overviews, Claude, Perplexity, Microsoft Copilot.
- European engine: Mistral, whose three documented crawlers are distinguished by purpose.
- Chinese engines: DeepSeek, Qwen, Kimi, Baidu and Baidu AI, Tencent Yuanbao.
2. What we do not claim to measure
Our scores measure a READINESS. They do not count the citations actually obtained in the answers of artificial intelligences, and we rule out any wording that would suggest otherwise.
When a platform publishes verifiable technical rules, we test them. When it publishes none, we keep to universal signals and we state the limitation. The absence of an officially documented crawler never leads to a penalty: it proves nothing.
Refusing to have a model trained on one's content is a legitimate choice that takes nothing away from discoverability. Only the blocking of an indexing or fetching crawler weighs on a score.
3. Our method
The methodology is public and versioned. Each report carries the version of the scoring engine that produced it, so that an old report remains comparable to what it stated at the time it was issued.
Platform facts, in particular the officially documented crawlers, are recorded with their source and the date they were checked. A rule that does not rest on a publisher's documentation is not applied.
We apply to our own site what we sell, and we publish the gaps when there are any.
4. Languages and markets
The site, the tools and the reports exist in thirteen languages.
Regional scores are kept separate from the global score. A French speaking site that does not target China loses no point for having no Chinese version: a market that is not monitored produces no score and influences no other.
5. Who publishes this service
Ready2GEO is published by a sole trader established in France, whose full identity appears in the legal notice.
The service is independent: it is neither a partner of, nor affiliated with, nor sponsored by any of the engines it analyses.
